The village has a fine collection of Thorndon photographs from the past to the present, some of which are displayed on this website.  

The Village Recorder, Cherry Rich, is responsible for recording events and scenes within Thorndon.  Over the years she has amassed a huge number of photographs and documents which are available to view on request.  She is an enthusiastic researcher and would always welcome any contributions from members of the public.
