Consumer Champions Network

The Consumer Champion Network is a new initiative by Suffolk Trading Standards to reach out and make it easier for Suffolk residents to access information about consumer protection.

The aim of the network is to educate and empower you about your consumer rights, and to build resilience to rogue traders and scams. The volunteer “consumer champions” will act as a bridge between Trading Standards and the local community.

• Brief examples could involve the Sale of Goods Act, do you really know your rights?
• Do you receive persistent telephone calls involving people trying to sell you something or nobody there when you answer, and would like to know who to contact to stop them?
