Thorndon Community Council arrange a number of social events throughout the year at the Village Hall. They are also responsible for the publication of Village Life Magazine which is circulated as ten issues a year to Thorndon, Braiseworth & Rishangles.
The Committee officers are:

Secretary - Lianne Walsh
Committee members include - Steve Parker, Richard Lummis, Robin Moore, Clinton Cattermole, Hazel & Derek Wood, Richard Nowak, Sarah Hamilton, Avril Montgomery, Lyn Andrews. Jon Wilkinson, Simon Bridgland and Rachel Wilkinson.
Meetings are held periodically at the Village Hall to which members of the public are welcome.
