The Village Hall, High Street was built in the 1920s with modernisation taking place since then. The hall is a very desirable place to hold any type of event from children's parties to weddings.
Carpet Bowls takes place during the winter months from September.
There is a playgroup every Wednesday morning and the Parish Council meet on the first Thursday evening of the month.
Hiring the Hall
The Main Hall measures 60ft by 25ft including 3 fixed bays, a raised stage with a curtain and a PA system. There are 20 folding tables, 100 stacking chairs and 6 card tables for use inside the hall. The hall has oil fired central heating and a lighting system which provides a variety of effects dependent on the event. The main hall, together with the small lounge can accommodate up to 150 people.
Small lounge/meeting room; there are sufficient tables and chairs can accommodate up to 20 people. There is a fully licensed bar and a designated premises supervisor.
The fully equipped kitchen has a large electric oven, 2 hot cupboards, fridge, freezer, microwave, industrial dishwasher, 2 urns and kettles. Crockery and cutlery is available to cater for up to 150 people.
The car park has wheelchair access via a ramp to the hall.
Hire charges are very reasonable and can be found HERE, Hire includes heating and hot water, the use of the kitchen facilities and the pay bar if required.
All bookings will require the payment of a security deposit which will be refunded following a damage/additional cleaning assessment.
